My Itch 2

I woke up this morning with a feeling inside me.  It was a feeling that I have become very aware of lately.  A feeling of having to do something HUGE with my life… a feeling that I am here for a reason.  I believe that I am discovering my reason… and some really cool things about myself.  I had to go look for this quote from Og Mandino’s book that I have been studying.  It sums up and explains the feeling that I woke with:

“Within me burns a flame which has been passed from generations uncounted and its heat is a constant irritation to my spirit to become better than I am, and I will. I will fan this flame of dissatisfaction and proclaim my uniqueness to the world.”

I have the itch… the irritation, to become better… to let my light shine and, in the process, allow others to do the same.  I so want to help people understand that there are different options when it comes to handling their money.  All I want to do is have an opportunity to be able to expose my strategies… do the numbers… ask the questions… and answer the questions, to create different ways of thinking about our money.  If I had a dime for every time I asked someone why they did something a certain way and they answered; because isn’t that what everyone else does?… I would have dump truck loads of dimes!!!

In the next few weeks, I am going to focus on Debt Elimination.  It is important to understand the financial implications of Holding Onto Debt.  Holding Onto Debt will Always Cost You More Money Than You Can Earn On Your Own.  As a society, we are emotionally involved in thinking that making more money is our answer… yet it is our debt, that in reality, holds us back from achieving our ultimate financial goals.

On an average, 34.5 Cents of Every Dollar we make goes to paying interest.  If I can help you eliminate that, wouldn’t I be getting you a 34.5% gain on your money?  What’s the average return on “investments” these days?
